Description: This useful sculpture has been placed specifically to be able to tell the time, using the sun. The low table-like and accessible design allows all to enjoy telling the time in this intriguing manner. Carved into the surface around the edge of the circular top are irregular splodges that could be compared to the sun’s rays seeping inward towards the upward triangle. These have a textural element about them, creating another interactive element to the sundial.
